Lemons and Irises
Lemons often appear in my still life paintings. I am drawn to filling my still life paintings with blue cloths, blue vases, blue knick knacks, even blue flowers. The obvious contrast to all this blue is to add in lemons to the still life setup. Today I have gathered together paintings of lemons that have been added to the still life painting solely for their beautiful colour.
